Linn County Early Childhood Iowa Board Seeks New Members

The Linn County Early Childhood Iowa Board invites community members and elected officials to be an active partner in early childhood by serving as a Board member. The primary role of the local Board is to award federal and state funds to early childhood programs that provide the best results for young children, ages prenatal thru 5 years, and their families in Linn County. Other duties include assessing community needs and communicating with legislators and the community on the importance of quality early childhood. This is not a fundraising board.

The Board meets the 4th Tuesday of the month from 3:30-5:00 pm. Board terms are for 3 years. Applications for Board Membership will be accepted through May 21, 2012.
